One of Vancouver Island’s biggest and best events is now on in Parksville! The Quality Foods Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition & Exhibition is a world class event attracting master sculptors from around the world.
These artists spend one day creating large masterpieces out of sand and water. But lucky for you, this event lasts much longer than just one day. The sculptures, themed “Heroes & Villains” for the 2015 competition, are on display until August 16. Will you be one of the 90,000 people who check them out this year?
